These terms are the agreement between your business ("you") and Lynx Solutions Company, commercial registration 4030000000, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia ("we", "us"), for using Sawwy. By starting a trial, buying a plan or using the service you accept them on behalf of your business.
1. The service
Sawwy is online software for running a shop: selling, buying, stock, payments, expenses, reports and ZATCA e-invoicing. You use it through a web browser or installed web app, in your own workspace.
We may improve, change or remove features over time. We will not remove a core Base feature you are paying for during your current billing period without giving you at least 30 days’ notice.
2. Your account and users
You must be a business or a person trading in Saudi Arabia, and the details you give us must be true and kept up to date.
The person who opens the workspace is its first manager. Managers add and remove users and decide what each one can see. You are responsible for everything done under your users’ sign-ins, so keep passwords private and remove people who leave.
Tell us straight away at support@lynx.sa if you think someone has signed in without permission.
3. Free trial
A new workspace gets a 14-day free trial. No card is needed. ZATCA e-invoicing runs in a test (sandbox) environment during the trial, so invoices made in the trial are not reported to ZATCA.
At the end of the trial the workspace becomes read-only until you choose a plan. If you don’t, we delete the trial workspace 30 days after the trial ends.
Each add-on offers one 14-day trial per workspace where shown on the Pricing page.
4. Plans, prices and billing
Prices are in Saudi riyals and exclude 15% VAT, which is added to every invoice. The price and what is included are those shown when you buy.
- Plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, and renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel.
- Add-ons you switch on are added to your next invoice; per-unit add-ons (counters, branches, users, seats) are charged per unit.
- Prepaid message bundles are charged once when bought and do not renew.
- If you add something in the middle of a period we charge the remaining part of that period straight away.
We may change prices for future periods. We will tell you at least 30 days before the change applies to you, and you can cancel before then.
We issue a ZATCA-compliant tax invoice for every payment and send it to your billing email.
5. Payment and late payment
You can pay by mada, Visa, Mastercard or Apple Pay through our licensed payment provider, or by bank transfer for yearly plans. We do not store full card numbers.
If a renewal payment fails we will try again and email you. If it is still unpaid 7 days after the due date the workspace becomes read-only. Your data is kept for 90 days; after that we may delete it as described in section 10.
6. Your data
Your business data (products, customers, suppliers, invoices, stock, payments and so on) belongs to you. You give us permission to store and process it only to run the service for you, keep it secure and support you.
You can export your data at any time from inside the app. How we handle personal data is set out in our Privacy policy, which is part of these terms.
You are responsible for having the right to put personal data about your customers, suppliers and staff into the service.
7. ZATCA e-invoicing and tax
Sawwy produces invoices and credit notes in the format ZATCA requires and, where Phase 2 applies to you, signs them and reports or clears them through ZATCA’s platform using the credentials you connect.
You remain responsible for your own tax affairs: the accuracy of what you invoice, your VAT registration details, your device onboarding with ZATCA and your VAT returns. We are not your tax adviser. If ZATCA’s platform is unavailable, invoices are queued and sent when it returns.
8. Acceptable use
You must not:
- use the service for anything illegal, including issuing false invoices or hiding sales from tax;
- try to get into other customers’ workspaces or test our security without our written permission;
- overload, copy, resell or reverse-engineer the service;
- upload malicious code or content you have no right to use.
We may suspend a workspace that breaks these rules or puts the service or other customers at risk. Where we reasonably can, we will warn you first and explain why.
9. Availability and support
We aim to keep the service available around the clock and plan maintenance outside shop hours where we can. The point-of-sale screen keeps working through short internet outages and syncs when the connection returns.
Support is by email (support@lynx.sa) and WhatsApp, in Arabic and English, during Saudi working hours.
10. Cancelling and ending the agreement
You can cancel at any time from Settings → Plan in the app or by emailing us. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for. Refunds are covered by our Refunds and cancellation policy.
After the plan ends the workspace is read-only for 30 days so you can export your data. We then delete it within 90 days, except records we must keep by law (for example our own invoices to you).
We may end the agreement with 30 days’ notice, or straight away if you seriously break these terms. If we end it without you being at fault, we refund any prepaid amount for the unused part of the period.
11. Our software and name
The software, design and the Sawwy name belong to Lynx Solutions Company. These terms give you the right to use the service for your business while your plan is active; they do not transfer any ownership.
If you send us suggestions, we may use them without owing you anything.
12. Responsibility and limits
We provide the service with reasonable skill and care. Apart from that, it is provided as it is, and we do not promise it will suit every business need.
Neither of us is liable to the other for lost profit, lost business or indirect loss. Our total liability under these terms in any 12 months is limited to the fees you paid us in those 12 months. These limits do not apply where the law does not allow them to.
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, including outages at ZATCA, payment networks, telecoms or hosting providers.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will email managers at least 30 days before a change that reduces your rights takes effect. If you keep using the service after that date, the new terms apply; if you don’t agree you can cancel before then.
14. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. We will first try to settle any dispute by talking to you. If we cannot, the competent courts in Jeddah have jurisdiction.
If these terms are translated, the Arabic version prevails where the two differ.
